Blade Wesley Snipes did not receive an invite to participate in the reboot

Wesley Snipes starred in the original Blade trilogy, and he’s already admitted on different occasions that he’s excited for the vampire hunter’s return in the Marvel Cinematic Universe version.

The actor, however, has yet to receive any kind of contact from Marvel Studios involving a possible cameo, something that many fans would like to see.

Snipes has an important contribution in popularizing comic book adaptations.

‎”No, not yet. You know, I’m still working on my acting skills. So when I appear on a project, they might say, ‘Let’s talk,’ or they might feel like that’s not necessary for the film.”‎

According to information from the Production List principal, photography on Blade will begin on July 4th, and Marvel Studios will utilize two locations in the coming months: Atlanta and New Orleans.

Until then, we only knew about the first one.

Recently, Damian Garcia was set as director of photography. His best-known works are Narcos: Mexico, by Netflix, and the feature film Wildland starring Charlie Hunnam (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) and Jack O’Donnell (Invincible).

Blade remains without a premiere date, and will bring Bassam Tariq (Mogul Mowgli) at the wheel, while Stacy Osei-Kuffour (Watchmen) handles the script‎‎.

Mahershala Ali (True Detective), Delroy Lindo (Blood Detachment) and Aaron Pierre (Time) are confirmed in the cast.
