Chainsaw Man announces Part 2 release date

After great public anticipation, Part 2 of Chainsaw Man had its release date announced for July 13 at the MANGA Plus.

Another novelty is that there will be translations in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Thai and French, at the same time as the original Japanese version.

In development in the studio MAPPAresponsible for Jujutsu Kaisen and the successful feature film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the anime adaptation will have a panel on anime expoon July 4th, at 3:30 pm (Brasília time).

Crunchyroll recently announced the acquisition of the anime’s streaming rights, which should enter the platform’s catalog later this year, having simulcast, in addition to being available for more than 200 countries with subtitled and dubbed versions.

And yes, Brazilian Portuguese is one of the available languages.

Ryū Nakayama (Black Clover, Jujutsu Kaisen) is the director, while Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan) handles the script.

On the soundtrack, Kensuke Ushio (DEVILMAN Crybaby) was chosen.

Chainsaw Man is a creation of Tatsuki Fujimoto and accompanies Denji, a poor young man who will do anything for money. He works as a demon hunter to pay off his late father’s debt to the Yakuza, always accompanied by his demon dog Pochita. After being betrayed, and practically killed, Denji merges with Pochita and is reborn as a half-demon.
