Deadpool 3 will have a ‘fish out of water’ story, says screenwriter

Deadpool 3 co-writer in collaboration with Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese confirmed that this is a “fish out of water” story.

Despite few details, the Bullseye must have some problems adapting to the new reality in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

‎”Deadpool 3 seemed like the perfect opportunity to explore this fish-out-of-water concept. I mean, Deadpool is a lunatic, and playing him in a very correct and well-behaved world… is going to be a lot of fun.”‎

told the BroBible Podcast (via ComicBook).

We recently had confirmation that the recruitment of members for the backstage team started with the arrival of Raymond Chan as a production designer.

This is an indication of the proximity of filming.

Winner of an award in the Art Directors Guild for his work as supervising art director on ‎‎Guardians of the Galaxy‎‎, Chan held the same position on ‎‎Thor: The Dark World, Doctor Strange, Avengers: Infinity War‎‎and ‎‎Avengers: Endgame.‎

‎Outside of comic book adaptations, Chan has also worked with Alfonso Cuaron (‎‎Sons of Hope)‎‎ and Ridley Scott (‎‎Robin Hood‎‎).
