Ghost of Tsushima 2 is speculated again

Everything indicates that the Sucker Punch Productions is working on a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. A 2020 hit, the samurai game sold well and was highly rated, so we’re not surprised to see it’s apparently getting a sequel.

Rumors of a sequel have surfaced thanks to a new job vacancy offered by Sucker Punchwho is looking for someone who can “deliver interesting and varied encounters in an open-world game, with a particular focus on melee combat and stealth.”

In other words, the Sucker Punch Productions is working on an open world stealth game with melee combat. Looks like a continuation of Ghost of Tsushima.

Meanwhile, other job openings at the studio mention that the team is looking for candidates who are familiar with the systems from their previous games. Again, it looks like a continuation of Ghost of Tsushima.

For now, this is all speculation, but it’s unclear what else there is to make of the language used in the company’s various job openings.

The plot of ‘Ghost of Tsushima’ follows Jin Sakai, who survives the invasion of the Mongol Empire on the island of Tsushima, in Japan, which begins to cause terror and conquer territories. The samurai will then need to set aside traditions to become a Ghost and secure victory.
