Since the debut of the series, which adapts the iconic Xbox franchise, there has been a growth “at record pace” in the signatures.

declared to Variety (via ComicBook).

‎At the moment, it is the second largest original series on the platform, behind only ‎‎ 1883‎‎. No wonder, the renewal has already been officially announced.

Recently, Marcus Lehtoco-creator of the franchise at the time of Bungie, showed discontent with the adaptation, after many fans pointed to the lack of fidelity, something that became stronger in the final stretch of the first season.

“I’m not sure where the inspiration for the series comes from so far. At least it’s not the Halo I made.”

Halo bring Otto Bathurst (Peaky Blinders) directing multiple episodes.

The series shows the war between the human race and the Covenant, a brotherhood of alien races that aim to exterminate all intelligent life in a religious mission through the use of Halos, powerful weapons created by an ancient civilization.
