To change the native resolution of the video on the iPhone April System settings press on Camera, choose Record videos. Here, you can choose whether to record at full resolution (which depends on the model of iPhone you own) or if reduce storage space.
It’s up to you to choose the best video resolution depending on the case: if it’s a movie you care about, it’s advisable to keep the resolution unchanged. Instead, if it is a video for social media or for some messaging platform, the video quality also changes.

You will find practically dozens of them; the only difficulty will be choosing the one best suited to your needs. They are quite intuitive to use: it won’t take you long to understand the various commands and make the best use of them for your needs.

Available for free on the App Store , Video Compressor was born with the sole objective of helping you compress iPhone videos. It is easy to understand and does not require any particular configurations.
But how do you reduce the size of a video in your Camera Roll? Nothing simpler. After downloading and installing it, grant a Video compressor all the required permissions and wait a few moments to view the video grid stored on your device. To reduce the size of one of them, press on it and choose between the three predefined settings: Low, Medium, And High. Wait for the video editing process to finish, and you’re ready.
Cute CUT
More professional looking but no less difficult to use, allows you to compress iPhone videos in just a few taps. First, download and install the free application from the App Store.
Once installed, open Cute CUT and create a new video project by following the wizard. Choose the SD quality (4:3) And import the video from the phone gallery. While you’re at it, using the Cute CUT editor, you could also crop the movie, so as to eliminate any dead parts and further reduce the weight of the video.
Once the procedure is completed, you can save the video in your Camera Roll. It must be said, however, that in the free version, the app will insert a watermark on the video. Furthermore, it is not allowed to export videos longer than 30 seconds.
Telegram
It may seem strange, but the anti-WhatsApp messaging app is among the most powerful and easy-to-use free video editors in the App Store. To compress iPhone videos with Telegramfirst open the app, enter one of the conversations, and import the video to be optimized.
Once this is done, press on the icon-shaped a rectangle with the number 480 in the center and choose the movie resolution. Telegram will show you the dimensions indicators that the film occupies on your memory and allow you to cut it out.
Once you’ve finished editing, please send it to your contact and wait a few moments. Press on the video again and choose Save to camera rolls as also to have it available locally.
