How to Use Wishbone In Valheim

After defeating the Bone Marrow boss in Valheim, you will obtain a wishbone, an item that can be quite strange for many players. That’s because the game doesn’t make it clear right away what this item does or how to use it, but know that it will help you find one of the most valuable resources in the game! So, we at CodioDesk have decided to make this guide that will teach you how to use the wishbone at Valheim!

How to use wishbone in Valheim

According to the game itself, Fúrcula is an “old bone that reminds us of the location of several forgotten things”. That is, it gives us almost no useful information and does not teach the player how to use it.

When equipping this item, you will see a message on the screen stating that you can now “feel hidden items”. If the Hugin raven is around, it will tell you the real purpose of that item, which is to help you find silver.

To find Silver, go to the Mountain Biome. There, equip your wishbone and if you pass close to Silver, the wishbone’s power will activate. You will know when this happens because, at that moment, your body begins to emit green luminous lines. In addition, you will hear a rhythmic sound that gets faster the closer you get to Silver (like sonar).

When the green lights and the rhythmic sound are being activated as an alarm, equip your pick and start digging. If you hit a silver ore, the game will warn you!

In Valheim you are a warrior killed in the battle, the Valkyries took your soul to Valheim, the tenth Nordic world. Surrounded by creatures of chaos and ancient enemies of the gods, you are the youngest guardian of primordial purgatory, charged with killing Odin’s old rivals and bringing order to Valheim.

His trials begin in the unarmed, peaceful center of Valheim, but the Gods reward the brave, and glory awaits him. Venture through imposing forests and snow-capped mountains, explore and harvest valuable materials to create more deadly weapons, tougher armor, Viking strongholds, and outposts.
