Star Wars | Wesley Snipes would love to be a part of the franchise

In a recent interview, actor Wesley Snipes, famous for having given life to the vampire Blade, declared his love for the Star Wars universe, and said he would love to be a part of the franchise.

“Well, it would have been nice to be a part of the Star Wars universe,” explained Snipes. “I’ve been a fan since the ’70s. I remember going to the movies, having no idea what my friend was taking me to see, and being mad at him for choosing this movie, because I thought there was a Kung Fu movie that it was a much better choice. But after a while I was fully immersed in the world they created, marveling at how they managed, inspired, from an actor’s perspective. It would have been fun to be a part of that.”

When asked if the series The Mandalorian wouldn’t be a great way to get into the franchise, snipes remembered that he had previously worked with the actress Ming-Na Wenwho plays the mercenary Fennec Shandright arm of Bobba Fett.

“Oh, The Mandalorian, that would be fun too,” he said. “She and I, actress Ming-Na Wen, made a wonderful film together. An award-winning movie, a drama, very different from the Marvel movies we did after that. It was called Just One Night, it’s a wonderful movie. You have to check it out one of these days, a relationship movie.”
