The School of Good and Evil | Netflix movie stars Cate Blanchett

Director of The School for Good and Evil, Paul Feig (Ghostbusters) announced during the Women in Entertainment Summit that Cate Blanchett (Thor: Ragnarok, Nightmare Alley) has joined the cast.

The renowned actress will play the role of narrator of the feature film.

‎”Actually, we just got Cate Blanchett as the narrator for the film, so we’re really excited about that. It’s something that no one has discovered yet. It hadn’t been announced until now.”‎

The main cast includes Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road), Kerry Washington (Django Unchained), Sophia Anne Caruso and Sofia Wylie.

The School of Good and Evil is an adaptation of the homonymous books by Soman Chainani. The first volume, released in 2013, sold 2.5 million copies.

In Brazil, the works are published by the publisher Gutenberg.

The plot The School of Good and Evil, which arrives in September on Netflix, follows best friends Sophie and Agatha. They find themselves on opposite sides of a modern fairy tale when they are at an enchanted school where young heroes and villains are trained to protect the balance between good and evil.
