Watch the perfect crossover between Minions and The Office

The Office’s opening credits have been redone with the Minions in place of the main characters, and the result is strangely perfect.

NBC and Universal have released The Officein 2005. The workplace mockumentary starred Steve Carell as Michael Scott, John Krasinski as Jim Halpert, Jenna Fischer as Pam Beasleyand Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrutealongside a talented cast. The Office became one of the biggest series in the United States over its nine seasons and received more than 40 Emmy nominations.

It’s been nine years since The Office ended, but the series is still incredibly popular. Meanwhile, the minions have become instantly recognizable characters in pop culture since their debut in My favorite evillike the hilarious, talkative yellow henchmen of Gru (also played by Carrell).

Now Universal is in the final stretch of the marketing campaign for the sequel to the Minions spin-off movie, Minions 2: Origin of Gru. And since Carell plays the head of Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch, Michael Scottand the leader of the Minions, Gruthe official account of The Office on Twitter shared a video that combines his two characters along with the Minions in a remake of the opening credits of The Office. And as strange as it sounds, the combination works perfectly.

Minions 2: Origin of Gru is the continuation of the adventures of the Minions, and this time, they help a Gru as a child, discovering how to be a villain. Fortunately, he gets support from his loyal followers, the Minions. When the Vicious 6 oust their leader – the legendary fighter Wild Knuckles – Gru participates in an interview to become their newest member. The interview doesn’t go well, and it only gets worse after Gru overcomes them and suddenly, the boy finds himself as the evil group’s mortal enemy. Gru will turn to an unlikely source of guidance, Wild Knuckles himself, and find that even supervillains need a little help from their friends.
